The Feline Bridal - 1st gown fitting and taiwan shoot date

last weekend, i tried calling sally, the salesperson who closed our deal at the wedding show. both my attempts were futile as her mobile phone was turned off. dear casually mentioned that she might have absconded. =P she did return call after an hour and as expected, she did not remember who i was (given the time frame, not many would). she was so enthusiastic and friendly then, saying we could ask her out for coffee and she would offer her help because i remind her of her niece. however, her tone over the line definitely speaks otherwise. well, she did help in the end by advising that we should call up the studio direct to arrange for an appointment.

made our way down to the shophouse on wednesday as per arranged with the girl who took my call, tan wei choo or somewhat similar pronunciation. we were greeted by an uncle whom did not seem to know anything, but was nice enough to offer help and asked a few standard questions. true to my suspicion, wei choo did not put down my appointment and the coordinator, rachel was busy with another customer at the point of my visit. there was a taiwanese girl (i learnt of her nationality during the later conversation) who tried to make small talks with us while waiting. after about 10 mins, we finally managed to catch rachel. there was not much of a discussion, we merely checked the preferred period to capture the blooms in taiwan and the area which we will be staying for the shoot. dear was a little hesitant and surprised when i asked him to pay the remaining balance of the package to confirm the taiwan shoot. he later told me that i mentioned we were going to take a look at their gowns and portfolio before making a final decision. rachel advised that the studio have new gowns arriving on a monthly basis and they are able to alter the gowns on the spot, will be good to set the gown fitting date nearer our pre-shoot and so i decided to set the 1st gown fitting to be 6 weeks prior to our flight.

honestly, i am not very happy with their lukewarm attitude and we may not be enjoying this whole experience. just keeping my fingers crossed that the pre-shoot will meet our expectations. we are contemplating whether to take up their actual day photography package as it is the cheapest alternative but will decide only after seeing the results when we return from taiwan.
